Branson Boats Design

The original company was established in 1978. The company has evolved over the years from designing and building fine water-craft to becoming the largest supplier of steel kit boats in the UK. Our expertise is based on experience with over two hundred different designs created, with many more completed vessels on the water.

Our steel kits are designed on computer and cut very accurately by C.N.C profilers. This new technology enables a more efficient building process and up to fifty percent labour savings can be anticipated. The plating is of a developed shape and requires only simple bending or rolling to fit. Accuracy in cut of the plasma profiles is +-3mm over 8 metres.

"Ollie" was completed in 2008 and is RCD categorised class C. She is a ideal craft for extended cruising for two in great comfort.

FROM THE BOW

EXTERIOR

Fore deck with raised toe rail, fitted anchor winch with anchor through deck side, Warp leads to exterior, hatch to forward lazerette and gas locker. Side decks leading aft of approximately 10" wiidth  handrails set into the cabin top. Cabin top ideal for lounging and relaxing! Aft deck with space for a couple of chairs raised toe rail with warp holes and 2 bollards. Aft cabin roof with hand rails and satellite TV dish.

WHEELHOUSE

Accessed from the side decks to port and starboard via hinged doors, centrally located helm station, space for table and chairs for alfresco dining, hatch to engine room, doors to forward and aft cabins.Surrounded by full folding wooden framed windows. 

AFT CABIN

Accessed via 4 steps from the wheelhouse. 4'06" island double berth centrally located with headboard aft. Sideboards to both bedsides, bedside lights fitted in base of overhead stowage lockers.4 port lights with blackouts. En suite toilet and wash basin fitted to forward starboard side with chemical toilet.Full height wardrobe to port with dresser table and mirror and 3 drawers under.

FORWARD CABIN

A large and spacious cabin fitted out to very high finish with the galley being open plan to the saloon and located aft and to starboard with stone type worktops, stowage beneath and above, fitted with domestic sized 4 burner hob, gas oven and separate grill, Microwave, 12v fridge and domestic size sink and drainer. To port a sideboard with further storage below. adjacent to this a loose standing table with four chairs. To the bow a large L shape sofa accommodating 6 comfortably or sleeping 2 occasionally, wood  burner stove to starboard on tiled plinth. Flat screen TV fitted to wall below windows with satellite dish feed.

TOILET / SHOWER ROOM

located below the foward deck with a full size domestic shower cubical with solid door and tiled interior, toilet located to port and wash basin to port both home sized! Storage lockers located to both port and starboard with access to services.
