FLASH was custom- built in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho by StanCraft Boats.  The StanCraft heritage reaches back 81 years to the first boat shop which was located on the shores of Flathead Lake, Montana.  Always family owned and operated, the legacy of Stanley Charles Young lives on, with true artisans proudly building unique and beautiful hand-crafted wooden boats.  FLASH is the perfect reflection of the StanCraft heritage.

FLASH was built to be a comfortable and fast day-cruiser.  There is a hard-top reminiscent of the “woody” station wagon over the helm to protect the driver and a guest in two high-quality custom pilot chairs.   The nostalgic steering wheel, controls, and gauges are to starboard.

Located aft in the cockpit is a very large and comfortable u-shaped seating area which can accommodate six persons easily.  All of the exterior upholstery in FLASH is done in red with silver accents.

A sun cushion is built into the engine compartment hatch on the sweeping aft deck.  The engine compartment embraces a stunningly beautiful Ilmor Motors 700hp V-10 Viper engine with twin exhaust. 

All the way aft is a swim step.

Going forward from the helm area is a small cabin with twin opposing chairs covered in grey suede material.  This cabin does not have stand-up headroom; however it is a very comfortable place to relax and enjoy music from the stereo, read a book, or have a conversation.  The fore and aft bulkheads are covered in an ostrich material.

The bow rider cockpit is located all the way forward.  There are two forward-facing upholstered seats that offer the experience of a lifetime when underway at speed!
