Fairey Fantome 32

SHADOW built in 1973 was the second of the Fantome marquee and of which only 36 were built in total, 25 of those destined for service in Libya. The origin of this hull was a plug of the Huntsman 31 hull number 28, which had been a very successful boat in its own right.

SHADOW is powered by hand built twin Ford Sabre 290 HP diesel engines, new in 1999, which have been overhauled by Mike Wills Engineering of Poole, she will comfortably cruise at 22 knots with an impressive top speed touching 35 knots. Well maintained by both her current and previous owner Mike Wills, who incidentally looks after several Fairey boats in Poole - SHADOW also had some significant upgrading in 2004.  This included new interior leather upholstery and seating in the cockpit as well as a full set of navigation instruments. 

Now on her road trailer in barn storage having been fully serviced, this is a comprehensive turnkey drive away option from a serious Fairey Marine aficionado.
