Garcia 48 Custom Fin Keel

Sam was built by the highly-regarded French custom shipyard Garcia, which is well known for their quality welding of aluminum yachts and installation of robust systems that hold up to the rigors of offshore sailing for many years. What makes her special is her fin keel and spade rudder, which greatly enhance her sailing performance, as well as making her a very maneuverable boat under power, especially in tight quarters.

She has recently undergone a refit that included all the hardware removed from the decks, new paint, all newly glazed ports - both fixed and opening, new nonskid and the mast painted. Sam shows very well with her new upholstery, electronics and electrical panel. She is in excellent condition.

Starting forward find a double berth with storage underneath.  Moving aft on port is the head and on starboard a sink and shower compartment. The huge salon is very open with Burmese teak throughout and seven large opening ports with covers for all ports. On starboard is a very large dinette area followed by a step up to the full galley with laminated countertops and excellent storage.  Across on port is a facing forward or aft nav station that doubles as a small dinette with views out the ports. Further aft on either side of the companionway there are two staterooms with large opening ports and hanging lockers.  There are multiple access points in both aft staterooms to get to all sides of the engine.
