The J/42 is built for offshore safety, performance and comfort

• Environmentally clean SCRIMP process using resin-infused laminates of Lloyd's approved, Baltek end-grained balsa core with woven biaxial & unidirectional glass fabrics.
• Fore & aft and transverse keel support beams infused during hull lamination to avoid secondary bonds
• Lead and 4 % antimony, fixed 7000 lb., fin keel with inverted-wedge bulb, fastened to reinforced molded stub with 1" keel bolts and epoxy
• White gelcoat hull with single tapered Boot and Cove stripes in Flag Blue
• White gelcoat on deck with smoke white non-skid.
• Bonded hull to deck joint with perforated aluminum toe-rail having bow, amidships and stern mooring chocks.
