Gemini Catamarans Legacy 35

Take 30 years of innovation in catamaran design, 40 years of the finest, most advanced research and development in American yacht manufacturing, passion, customer feedback, craftsmanship, and an entirely new, collaborative way of doing business and the result is stunning!
Advantages:
A 34 inch draft that allows the boat to be pulled up right next to a beach or anchored in small, protected coves.
A 14 foot beam, which means the boat can be trucked anywhere in the country, hauled out of the water with a standard size travel lift and kept in a standard size slip.
Costing no more than an average mid-size monohull, the Gemini Legacy 35 has more interior volume than most 40-foot monohulls.
Fast, level sailing. Imagine moving along at wind speed with virtually no heeling. your drink stays on the table and you stay comfortably reclined in your seat. Plus, with the upgraded engine option, you can get home quicker after sailing too.
Fast, family friendly, easy to maneuver, and affordable.
All the reasons this boat has been an American Legacy since 1981. The Gemini Legacy 35 is the most successful cruising catamaran ever built.

Master Cabin Cabinet
In the 2013 model this area was used for water tanks, which have now been relocated to the aft of the boat next to the fuel tanks. This improvement also takes the weight off the bridge deck and moves it lower and farther aft, which improves the motion of the boat. Interior of the cabin has a wood finish.

Aft Starboard Cabin Headliner and Hatch Redesign

In redesigning the aft cabin the headliner is now flush with the contour of the deck thus allowing much more head and elbow room around the bed. The cockpit hatch was angled into the aft cabin above the bed and is now flush in the cockpit seat producing much more room above the bed on the inboard side.

Three Cabin, Two Head Option

The forward starboard cabin can easily be configured as a third cabin or a combination second head/crew cabin. This redesign has a step that covers the toilet and a slide out panel to increase the length of the bed. This change also incorporates an additional window, allowing for more light.

The two crew cabins on the standard layout of the new Gemini Legacy 35 are roomy and spacious with beautiful cabinetry for storage and over 6 feet of headroom.

The aft cabin has a 50 inch double bed and the forward cabin (replaced by a second head in the two cabin, two head option) is a 44 inch double.

Plenty of room for guests with maximum privacy and space!

2014 Enhancements

The forward cabin on the Gemini Legacy 35 offers a multitude of options that allow you to configure the boat for your particular use. The cabin can be either a second head with a large storage area, a third double cabin or a ‘crew cabin’ configuration that combines the two.

HEAD:
With a full standing shower and plenty of cabinet storage the head on the Gemini Legacy 35 is functional, easy to maintain and beautifully appointed.

Both the optional forward head and standard rear head are composite molded units that keep maintenance to a minimum.

Optional Quiet Flush toilets and additional medicine cabinets add to the appeal of this private space.

SALON:
Light, bright, open layout, spectacular visibility, comfortable, great headroom….. These are just a few of the words that sum up the new Gemini Legacy 35 salon and pilot house.

Easy seating for six around the dinette table or optional coffee table. With 180 degree outside views while seated or standing, you can truly enjoy your dinner and drinks despite the weather!

One level living between the cockpit and salon means there is no more going “down below”. The galley and navigation station all being on the same level as well creates a comfortable, easy layout where sociability is maximized, while the private cabins mean quiet, alone time whenever you want it!

One of the best features of the Gemini salon also continues to be the great air flow. Two large overhead hatches and the sliding windows to the cockpit create maximum air flow even in the most stifling conditions.

With the optional air conditioning and generator even the most temperature sensitive sailors will have a great time no matter the conditions!
