Hinckley 35 Yawl, A Sweetheart - New arrival

Exemplary professional care and updates to this classic Hinckley 35 have established her as an absolute sweetheart of a yacht. Nimble, graceful, a true pedigree. Only a few of these venerable Hinckley hulls were rigged as yawls- providing great sail balance in nearly any sea condition.

Recent improvements lavished on Beam Reach include new North sails 2011, Raymarine C70 Chartplotter, depth, speed and Radar. Complete rewiring of systems.  Soda blasted full prep of bottom, proper barrier coating and application of ablative bottom paint. Solid fiberglass hull. All new Lewmar self-tailing winches in 2008. New halyards 2010. Custom lifelines. Quality brightwork.  Dependable '92 Westerbeke 38 HP engine.

Attractive, comfortable salon. Beautiful brightwork. Ample galley area. Gimbaled propane oven currently not operational. Stainless steel ice box. opening ports and hatches. New dorados. Cabin sole varnished in 2012.

Exterior brightwork in nice order, Decks painted in 2010 with Interlux Perfection, (after removal of all hardware and proper prep). Nonskid on decks 2013. Storage, lazzarette areas and engine spaces bilge coated 2010. Vessel Awl-gripped in 2000

38 HP Westerbeke diesel. Engine mounts changed in 2013, starter rebuilt, water pump changed. Annual filters and impellers replaced. Racor filter. Cutlass bearing replaced 2009

Solid, thick fiberglass hull. No blisters. Full soda blast bottom work 2007. Multiple barrier coats and ablative antifouling paint.

Head and cabinetry rebuilt 2013. Boat completely rewired in 2009. New batteries. Isotemp SS hotwater tank added recently.

2008 Raymarine C70 Chartplotter, speed, depth and Radar all at helm.
