Own a piece of history. This amazing 1927 John Alden Classic Yawl has been beautifully restored with great attention to authenticity. Vessel history has the boat commissioned by a Boston insurance magnate L.H.H. Johnson, and then being purchased by John W. Stroh in 1930, with the vessel being introduced to freshwater. Its been in freshwater ever since. The current owner, and his yacht club pals began the extensive restoration 10 years ago. Over $100K of materials have been used during this project. New sails & upholstry, a used 1999 Yanmar diesel installed, plus numerous accessories. Only seen water for about a month in 2010 & 2012 sinced launched, and then put back into storage.
