Robertson And Caine Leopard

SAILAWAY FREE is  a magnificent vessel.

She started life as a standard L4500....being bullet proof built by R and C in South Africa. Being one of the first built she was completely overbuilt..... which is why these legendary vessels command such respect.

She has however been completely transformed.

No longer does she suffer from the submarining effect that plagued many cats...where ( at speed) the vessel trims stern down and the stern platfroms are underwater thus creating massive turbulance and a relatively slow ride.

She has had fully 48 inches added giving her a LOA of 48 ft.

She has also had the Cantilever Dingy Davits removed and the upgraded improvement of the later designs fitted.

Finally she has had the latest hard top fitted.

Many many other upgrades make her truly the most desirable Leopard around.

I have completely rebuilt both engines down to the Pistons rings bearings and push rods. One transmission is brand new. I have a brand new Yamaha 4 stroke outboard on the dinghy I have $7500 of brand new Raymarine electronics including radar AIS fish finder XM satellite I have a new VHF radio new antennas new motor mounts new alternator new starter new water pumps new heat exchanger engine room completely sanded down and repainted bench seat between Davits done now néw sail sack and color scheme installed first week of March. new shower sump pumps, all electric toilets throughout... All new black corian counters throughout and much more. I don't think there is room for argument about price any longer. Standing rigging completely inspected last fall and any all work done to it.
