With an astonishing amount of interior space the 466, by elevating the sidedecks, Carver designers were able to give this yacht a distinctive look while providing an enormous full-width Salon whose dimensions rival that of an average 55 foot yacht. She rides on a solid fiberglass hull with a wide beam and moderate transom deadrise. Her two and 1/2 stateroom floorplan is arranged with the mid-level Galley to port separated from the Salon by a serving counter. The full-beam Salon, trimmed with varnished cherry woodwork provides enough seating for a small crowd with the dinette located forward and starboard. Her fore and aft staterooms are fitted with Queen berths and each head has a separate stall shower.

Outside, molded steps lead to the aft deck and entertainment area with hardtop, port and starboard wing doors and a large bridge with a centerline Helm forward and guest seating to starboard.
