The Dyer 40' is a true American quality Downeast style trawler.  She is well built in the New England boat yard of Anchorage Marine, located in Rhode Island.  She has a single 420 hp Detroit which powers her to 23 knots top speed or cruise economically at 10 knots burning 6 gph.

Pelican is believed to be the only Dyer 40 on the West Coast. She is extremely seaworthy and easy riding in a seaway.  She has had extensive professional systems upgrades under her current ownership.  She is a joy to cruise and brings out admirers in every port and harbor.
