Wilbur Flybridge Sedan
Designed by Ralph Ellis built by Lee S. Wilbur. Since 1973, Wilbur has built well over 200 custom yachts--ranging in size from 28 to 70 feet--located virtually all over the world. Boats have been built for Woods Hole Oceanographic and the Smithsonian... for the East Coast and the Pacific Northwest... for lobstermen and sportfishermen... for day trippers and for cruisers. "What makes a Wilbur a Wilbur?" There are many ways to answer this question. However, Wilbur Yachts believes the reasons listed below allow them to offer one of the finest crafts on the water today. This vessel went through a major refit in 2005. An extensive list of upgraded items is available upon request. She has been boat house kept under the current owner's watch. Wingaway is the boaters equiviant to a classic automobile and opportunities to own a Wilbur Yacht do not come around often. Entering the cozy salon from the cockpit, galley to port and dinette to starboard. She has a traditional down-east look and feel. Windows are large, keeping the space bright.
1. Detail: Attention to detail is constant and they are continually upgrading.
2. Reliability: The boats work. The Wilbur 34 is now up to hull number 71
3. Recognizable: Classic Down East styling. Time and again, owners relate stories of the interest other boaters show, both on and off the open water.
4. Built in Maine: The boats are built in Maine with Maine pride. Maine is one of the last bastions of real Yankee work ethics and craftsmanship.
5. Numbers: They don't build many, but they build them well.
6. Exclusivity: Not everyone can own a Wilbur.
7. Value: Wilbur Yachts, quite simply, maintain a very high resale value.
