Only once in a long while will we find custom craft boat builders assemble their years of refined skill and experience to create a dramatic, sweeping speedboat shape such as renowned designer Ken Bassett has drawn to become the "TomCat-21".

I have personally operated and sold many recent constructions that Dave Strobino has built, but his 2014 project has taken the classic speedboat world by surprise! Combining his cold molding construction techniques, along with old fashioned fit and finish, this retro-classic speedboat design turns heads and gets remarked by most as "performs beyond all expectation", "thrilling to control through high speed turns" and "incredibly Sexy".

This yacht is being offered with her systems commissioned, custom trailer and engine serviced. Feel free to contact us for a complete manufacturers description of construction and specifications. Shipping arrangements available worldwide. Proudly designed and built in the USA!

 Builders comments:

"Tomcat-21" is a collaboration between Hamilton Armstrong ( Ham ) and myself . I met Ham in a barn looking at antique boats . Ham had worked on restorations for years and after getting to know Ham I found we shared a lot of similar ideas in modern construction methods . We agreed to do a project together using our cold molding ideas , the ring frame was our construction method of choice .

Now what type of boat? Some lines that we love about the old classics but with speeds of the modern bass boats . We turned to designer Ken Bassett. Ken had penned many a successful designs , one being Rascal, a 14' outboard runabout . We wanted something bigger with more beam and more dead rise, capable of seating three full size people . Ken delivered! Time to meet "Tomcat 21".

* Ken has had many of his designs sold through WoodenBoat magazine.
