White Rose I is a centre cockpit Blue Water Cruiser with 3 double berth cabins and a vast saloon. She is heavily constructed for safety and comfort.

A ¾ length keel with fully encapsulated lead ballast ensure a comfortable sea-kindly motion. The cutter sail plan with furling headsails and fully battened mainsail offers a simple, easily handled and versatile sail plan. The powerful 100hp diesel auxiliary gives peace of mind with a range of up to 1000 nautical miles.

The centre cockpit ensures a dry sailing experience with easy access to the deck equipment. The cockpit features a hard top enclosure for weather and sun protection with soft sides for easy access and ventilation.

Wide and spacious teak decks give secure footing with lots of room to move or relax. The transom arch serves to support solar panels, wind generator, antennas and dinghy stowage whilst allowing easy access to the transom swim and boarding platform for safe tender transfers.

The interior boasts a spectacular craftsman built teak interior. With 5 main hatches and 4 opening and 14 fixed port lights the interior is bright, cheerful and well ventilated. Three powerful integrated air conditioning units are available for the summers in the Med or the tropics.

A linear galley arrangement on the portside amidships features a gimbaled stove / oven, double sink and capacious front opening refrigerator and freezer with plentiful storage compartments.

A separate Navigation / Control Centre is featured on the starboard side adjacent to the companionway. All the electrical and electronic equipment can be controlled and monitored from this location. A large table is available for chart work with chart storage underneath.

A separate bathroom complete with head and showering facilities serve the forward cabins while the aft stateroom has it’s own ensuite bathroom. The aft stateroom offers complete privacy and serenity from the other living areas and features a large queen size double berth and generous storage spaces.

As a long distance cruiser for the past 10 years, White Rose I has had a continuous and thorough maintenance regime. Now she is ready for you to explore the world in comfort and safety.

The hull and deck are hand laid using alternating layers of chopped strand mat and woven rovings and are finished with white isophthalic gelcoat. Divinycell PVC foam core is incorporated into both the hull and deck structures. For additional reinforcement there is also a fiberglass encapsulated PVC foam hull stringer grid system. The lead ballast is encapsulated into the keel cavity using a heavy mat and roving lay-up.

The rudder is moulded fibreglass with a 2” diameter stainless steel stock. The custom heel fitting is made of cast bronze. The stock is machined to accept the emergency tiller. The emergency tiller is on the boat.

The cockpit is integral with the deck moulding. The sole has teak inlay aft of the pedestal with removable grating forward and two large drains. The cockpit sole forward of the pedestal is removable in the event that any major engine work is required. A water-tight box installed underneath the cockpit sole houses the manual bilge pump.

The side decks, coach roof and cockpit are all covered with 14mm teak laid down on one part Sikaflex compound and screwed and plugged. The deck caulking has been refurbished during the last 12 months with Teak Decking Systems TDS SIS 4400 caulking system. Plugs replaced and re-epoxied where required.
