The Carver 32 Montego is built on a wide modified-V hull with 12'4" beam, a sharp entry, shallow keel with 2'9" of draft, and solid fiberglass construction. The Montego combines a sportboat profile with a comfortable interior layout, and the result is a practical weekend family cruiser. Her full-width floorplan is very spacious for a boat this size and features a large forward stateroom with a double berth, hanging locker and lots of storage space. The mid cabin has a double berth with a privacy curtain, and a large opening port for excellent ventilation. The galley is forward in the salon and features refrigeration with freezer, stainless sink, hot & cold pressurized water system, Convection oven, Newer Corian Counter tops, and very ample storage. The salon also features a starboard side fore-and-aft facing dinette , as well as a settee to port. The head offers a double-entry from the forward stateroom as well as the salon and features a private stand-up shower, electric marine head, sink with vanity and mirror, and a good amount of storage.
