Classic Wooden Motor Yacht - Liveaboard

This Classic Wooden Motor Yacht was built by P Waters & Sons in Appledore in 1936. A deck saloon was added in 1973. 'Karenette' is constructed from larch on oak frames, with teak over marine ply on the decks. At 36 feet this wooden boat makes a great liveaboard with two double berths (The fore-cabin was completely refurbished in 2012) and a woodburner in the saloon.

 Pilothouse/saloon is situated over the engine compartment, a very light space with 360 degree visibility. There is seating for 5 in the saloon area which has a solid oak laid floor. The galley is well equipped for living aboard with a gas cooker (two gas rings, hot plate, grill and oven) with stainless steel splash backs and a Belfast sink.
