Fisheries Patrol Boat - Restored Historic Fisheries Patrol Boat

Completely restored and designed by H.C. Hanson, 'Pelican' was built by the U.S. government to the highest standards. Launched in 1930 began operating as a Fisheries Patrol Vessel. The current owner  has owned  'Pelican' for 40 years and maintained and upgraded the boat at no expense spared. The boat is very unique and extremely well kept. It is updated to ABYC standards. All systems have been maintained and upgraded.

The 200hp 6 cylinder Joshua Henry Iron Works engine is in very good condition. The boat comes with Tons of spare parts including a spare engine.

 

Pelican is equipped with a 200 HP 6 cylinder direct reversing Joshua Henry Iron Works diesel engine.

The engine starts with compressed air and burns about one gallon of fuel per mile.

Cruising speed is 8.5 knots at 700 rpm and the max speed is 10 knots at 900 rpm.

The engine has 4000 hours.
