Canadian Sailcraft Traditional - Priced to sell!

If you have not heard about the Canadian Sailcraft Yachts, you are in for a pleasant surprise. The CS 36 Traditional even by todays standards is a well balanced solid boat that is a Raymond Wall (of Camper Nicholson fame) design. Quoting from goodoldboats.com "the boat sails like it is on rails and comes about like a dinghy, quick and agile.

In many ways the boat feels larger than 36' with a spacious cockpit, two spreader rig, and a very open spacious cabin below.

There is a wonderful write up on the Canadian Sailcraft 36 Traditional on Sailboat Owner's blog written by Main Sail on September 7, 2011, It gives a very thorough description of the CS 36. He starts the discussion with "The CS 36's are/were very, very well built boats. They are comparable to Sabre, Tartan, Cape Dory, Bristol etc. in terms of build quality and they were ahead of their time in terms of features and design characteristics." He continues to discuss the design and construction and other features or comment about the boat.

I believe anyone familiar with the boats will tell you that the CS36 is a solid reliable boat that sails well and if well maintained can give you many years of cruising comfort.
