Fay Bowen Golden Arrow - Unique, rare piece of history
Golden Arrow Series, One of Six ever produced. Two others still in in existence. Golden Girl was formerly named Golden Era when it was owned by the Lewis Family of the Thousand Islands up until 1989 when it was acquired by a well known Yachtsmen out of Watch Hill RI. During the time in RI, Golden Girl was Captained Maintained under a rigorous maintenance regime. Always stored inside when not in use, Golden Girl was sold in 2009 to it's current owner. It's current owner is an Antique Classic Boat aficionado. He has many other boats in his collection and is starting to scale down. Under his care, custody and control, Golden Girl has been maintained to perfection, undergoing a cosmetic restoration in years 2009 and 2011. The decks and interior were stripped, stained and varnished and the top sides were repainted in Interlux Endeavor Blue. Bilges, undersides of deck hatches and the forward face of the engine bulkhead were also repainted and some frame and planking repair was dealt with. Golden Girl has been featured in many books and magazines including the French Book - "Canots de Legende" on Pages 45 and 51. Included in the sale are a Full Cockpit Bimini, Stern, Helm and Companion Seat Cushions, Two Wicker Chairs w/ Cushions, Canvas Cockpit Cover and a Float on, Aluminum, Triple Axle Trailer.
