Smelne Stevens 1180S - Immaculate Condition

Temptress is a lovely spacious boat and her interior proportions and exterior space are ideal for either the larger family or just for two. She is in superb condition for her age and has the rarity of being fitted with twin 100hp diesels and a bowthruster so is suitable for both inland and offshore locations.

Her interior design features both the forward and aft cabins being fitted with French island double berths and en suite heads compartments. A large spacious saloon and aft deck with easy access from the bathing platform and fitted seating for great comfort.  There is mood lighting in the saloon with LED lights on side decks, radar arch and back stairs.

She has a Boat Safety Certificate to October 2018.  Engines were serviced in March 2014 and the hull was last antifouled in May 2012.

Forward Cabin The feature of this cabin is the centrally located French Island double berth. The cabin has a good amount of natural light due to the side windows, hull port lights and overhead hatch. Stowage is in a 3/4 height wardrobe, side shelving, step locker cubbyholes and a large cupboard beneath the berth. An added benefit is the en suite toilet room fitted with electric flush toilet, sink with hand shower and further stowage facilities.

Galley Located to the starboard side and is open plan to the saloon, the galley is fitted with laminate worktops, a three burner hob, two fridges, a stainless steel Smev oven and grill, stainless steel circular sink and a rarity in a craft of this size a fitted waste bin! Storage is in cupboards and drawers above and below the worktops. The flooring is practically finished in a laminated Teak and Holly easily cleaned veneer ply.

Saloon The main accommodation area of the boat is fitted with comfortable cream simulated leather sofas to both port and starboard with storage aft of the port sofa and beneath both. Excellent visibility and natural light comes from the large cabin windows which are fitted with blinds for privacy. A hi-low table is fitted so six can eat comfortably when it’s raised.

Aft Cabin Accessed by stairs from the saloon, heads to port, fitted with Jack and Jill doors to the aft cabin and aft corridor. The heads features a wash basin, storage, electric toilet and sink. Within the aft cabin the berth is located centrally with storage to port and starboard in cupboards and wardrobes. Good natural light comes from the two aft hatches and side windows. Mirrors are fitted to both sides of the cabin giving a fantastic feeling of space. The well sized en suite shower room is located to starboard and fitted with a sink and storage.

Engine Room Located amidships beneath the saloon, with daily checks available by the hinged aft cabin stairs or by lifting all saloon floorboards for servicing. A very tidy installation of the twin Volvo TAMD 31S 100 hp diesels, generator forward and centrally located ahead of the batteries. Good sound proofing to ensure a quiet running at all times.

Exterior Aft deck features a centrally located helm giving excellent vision all around the craft, fitted helm and co-pilot seats, aft steel seat locker with squab and backrest. Overall canopies enclose the entire cockpit and are attached to an easy fold stainless rail to the mast. Steel mast with gas rams assistance for folding for low bridges. Folding aluminium screens. Access is from a curved transom staircase to the bathing platform, then to port and starboard side decks. The forward deck is a good flat area with two steps to either side deck from the cockpit. Stainless steel rails surround the craft with sliding access gates to port and starboard amidships.
