Elco 42 Flat Top Cruiser

"Tenango" takes you back to the days of quality building and classic styling, the Elco 42 Flat Top is the quintessential example of the pre-war years luxury yacht. She is in good condition and mechanically sound. The current owner has lovingly maintained her to her original standards for over 40 years. A previous two time winner of "Best Power Boat" at the Mystic Seaport Antique Boat Show "Tenango" continues to turn heads as she cruises effortlessly down the river.

The Elco 42 provides a comfortable living enviroment surrounded by beautiful Phillipine Mahogany finished to yacht standards. The forward statyeroom includes two berths along with plenty of staorage. Stepping aft brings you to the galley area to port consisting of a refrigerated ice box, sink and stove. There is plenty of built ins for galleyware. Across from the galley is the forward head with sink. Going up from there takes you to the bridge deck. If you continue aft you enter the engine room, inside you will find a crews berth with lockers and closets. There is a work bench to starboard with storage below. There is egress up a ladder to the aft deck. Access to the aft stateroom is down a flight of stairs from the bridge deck, this brings you into a large stateroom with accommodations for two with berths outboard. Large closets and storage provide plenty of room for all your possesions.
