Maine white cedar carvel planking over steam bent Maine white oak frames. Oak backbone and floor timbers. Semi-displacement hull with partial keel and skeg rudder. Bronze screw fastening. Deck is mahogany laid and caulked. The 8’ x 10’ self-bailing cockpit is painted mahogany. Trunk cabins have painted mahogany sides and the cabin roof is mahogany. Deck trim is teak. Hydraulic ram steering controls with a single cylinder ram at rudder. DAY BY DAY has a gray hull, black boottop and a black bottom. She has two operable windows. According to a recent survey, she is in above average condition.
