When you first look at Inspiration, you will find it hard to believe that the boat is now 23 years old.  The question is not, "What has been upgraded?", but rather "What has not been upgraded?"   The owners purchased the boat in 1993 when she was just 3 years old.  The boat has been meticulously maintained and never in charter.  There continue to be constant investments in maintenance and improvements. Their philosophy is: if it's broke..fix it, if we can find a way to improve it...improve it. If we come up with an idea to make it more livable...do it. In the last 20 years the owners have invested approximately $200,000 on maintenance and protection and another $212,000 on improvements and upgrades, which can all be documented.  

Additionally, almost every item we added to Inspiration was based on recommendations and reviews by Practical Sailor, Yachting World, and pros doing the work at excellent shipyards. They would also routinely ship in parts rather than just buy what was available.
