Soon after her launch Yachting Monthly commented on her well proportioned deckhouse and ease of handling. It could be said that a motor sailer from any era can appear a tad too wholesome and unlikely to seduce; however, MARGARETTA is a clever blend and succeeds both with good looks and balance of rig. Built at Newman & Son in Poole in 1937 she has enjoyed the life – her current owners of nearly 20 years have spoilt her while cruising their spectacular home waters near Vancouver and we dare you to visit her !

MARGARETTA II is a robust and uncomplicated boat, ready to head out anywhere and very easy for 2 people to handle both under sail and power.
