Alberg Sloop #33 - Kemo Sabe

Design by Carl Alberg, Kemo Sabe is equipped for coastal cruising. She sleeps six, two in V berth, four in the main salon.

Moored in Rockport, Maine, available for inspection at Knights Marine, Rockland, Maine.

Aux power:   

Perkins  4-108  diesel w/Hurth transmission,  1525 hours, very good condition (1990), Very easy starting.

Electric sump oil change system, electric fuel pump with spin on filter system for easy  filter change.  Spare impellors.

Prop: “Sailor” three bladed prop on 1” shaft, all new in 2009, including new packing gland.  “Sailor” prop is a very low drag high power prop, reaches 6.5kts at approx 2500rpm.

Plumbing:   

Throughhulls & seacocks upgraded in 1999, all in excellent condition, bonded to zinc for protection

Raritan head 2005 and holding tank with appropriate Y valve and pumpout in very good condition.

Shower in head with holding tank and electrical pumpout.

Rigging & Sails: 

Standing and running rigging (1999), all wire rope fitted with Sta-Loc terminals (1999). All in excellent    condition

Two speed Barient self tailing winches, two Barient non- self tailing winches

Mainsail good condition (1995) fully battened with Dutchman system furling (installed Pope Sails 2008), cleaned and     maintained by Bohndell  in 2014, two reefing points.

Genoa 155% (1995) in very good condition.  

Mainsheet 6:1 purchase traveler 2001, allows for easy and exact mainsheet trim.

Dodger & mainsail cover (2004) and bimini/boomcrutch (2009) with new Sunbrella material in (2009).

Stainless steel boomcrutch provides an added measure of safety.  

Navigation:  

Navman apparent & true windspeed, SOG, VMG, depth, temp instrumentation in operational  condition      displays in cockpit.

Garmin 215 chartplotter 2001, located in cockpit, with laptop data feed to main salon.

Marine VHF Standard Horizon GX1255S w/DSC 2007. 

VHF & chartplotter mounted in cockpit, excellent condition.

Wheel steering W/Simrad WP-30 autopilot in excellent condition.

Electrical:  

All 12VDC circuits protected by circuit breakers. 

Two  gelcel 12VDC batteries 2010 very good condition.  

All wiring upgraded in 1999.

100 amp alternator 2008, spare alternator included.

Rule 1000 bilge pump with automatic and manual controls with alarm, manually “gusher” type manual bilge pump.

Shore power receptical only, no AC wiring installed.

Interior lighting & steaming and anchor lights converted to LEDs

Main Saloon / Galley: 

Huge icebox storage with improved insulation 2008. 

Alcohol Origo two burner stove, very safe, works beautifully.

Drop leaf custom main salon table, very solid new in 2006.

All Interior cushions refitted in 2009 with new foam.  Cushion material refitted in 1999.

General Details:

Professionally painted topsides in 2012 (single part Ephifanes), two addit’l  coats Spring 2014.

Barrier undercoated in 1999 prior to ablative antifouling renewed every 2-3 years hence.  All in excellent condition.

Ground tackle, 35# CQR on 30’ chain w/300’ rode, and claw with 6’ chain and 150’ rode

Custom boarding ladder attaches to toe rail, very safe.  Home made PVC boarding ladder.

All exterior Mahogany brightwork recently finished with Epifanes 2011

 Large custom stowable cockpit serving table 2006.  Magma LP fired stern rail mounted grill (2010)

Custom Winter cover with metal frame that disassembles for easy storage
