Hargrave/Halmatic Motoryacht

Jack Hargrave is a legend. He was the architect of many fine yachts, large and small over the years. He was responsible for many of the Hatteras yachts. Empress of just one fine example.

This Hargrave design was created for luxurious living and entertaining: to wit, the main salon and enclosed aft deck lounge were not separated by partitions. Everything about the interior is light and modern. The owner's stateroom, aft with a separate entry from the salon, is full beam and more than 16 feet wide, includes a walk-in locker, dressing room/office and large head and shower. Forward below are two large staterooms with private heads and showers, a day head, large laundry compartment, crew quarters/office and private head and shower. Hargrave considered this model the "ultimate yacht" in her size for her combination and large power and fuel capacity. This yacht can cruise very economically at hull speed or cruise fast around 20 knots. Very efficient and well designed hull. She is a beautiful looking yacht. Must see!

Empress is a beautiful Hargrave designed yacht. Wonderful layout for entertaining, cruising, or living aboard.

Three staterooms and four heads for owner's and guests. Forward crew and head. Pilothouse motoryacht with large flybridge space.

Empress is USCG documented with a Marad waiver for passenger use of 12 people. Owned in an Oregon LLC.

She is powered by Detroit 12V-71's, 625 HP which were completely rebuilt in 2008, now has 400 hours on the rebuilds. She can cruise at hull speed with low fuel burn. She has gone from San Diego to Catalina for one week with generators running during the day burning 140 gal of fuel.

She has two Northern Lights 120/240 15 KW generators, 3.5 KW Outback digitally controlled inverter, Three 120 A, 32 volt alternators on main engines, and Three 32 V battery banks.

She holds 1600 gal of fuel, 450 gal water, Calibrated fuel and water manometer gauges, real-time fuel consumption gauges, connection and valves for dock pressure water supply, 25 gal per hour water maker with input and output water filters, UV output water sterilization backwash.
