Jack Hargrave is a legend. He was the architect of many fine yachts, large and small over the years. He was responsible for many of the Hatteras yachts. Empress of just one fine example. This Hargrave design was created for luxurious living and entertaining: to wit, the main salon and enclosed aft deck lounge were not separated by partitions. Everything about the interior is light and modern. The owner's stateroom, aft with a separate entry from the salon, is full beam and more than 16 feet wide, includes a walk-in locker, dressing room/office and large head and shower. Forward below are two large staterooms with private heads and showers, a day head, large laundry compartment, crew quarters/office and private head and shower. Hargrave considered this model the "ultimate yacht" in her size for her combination and large power and fuel capacity. This yacht can cruise very economically at hull speed or cruise fast around 20 knots. Very efficient and well designed hull. She is a beautiful looking yacht. Must see! Naiad digitally controlled stabilizers and Sidepower bow thruster. 145 lb Forfjord rock anchor in chute, Fortress FX 125 in roller, all chain, and Fortress FX 85 emergency anchor on stern. Boston Whaler 13 foot tender with 20 hp four stroke electric start, VHF radio, GPS chart plotter, Depth Sounder, and Bilge Pump. And a 10 foot Hypalon Inflatable with Torquedo Travel 1003 electric motor. 10 person Solas A pack liferaft, 30 PFD's, and 2 throwable PFD's. Navigation equipment includes- Electric dive tank filling compressor and many dive tanks. AC and reverse heat throughout the vessel, portable heaters and winter freeze prevention heaters for cold climate areas.
