Chris-Craft Salon Motor Yacht Model - A Classic that turns heads

If you are looking for a rare boat that turns heads, this is it.

Christened “Queen of the Fleet“ as the flagship of the 1957 Chris Craft Salon Model, one of seven made, the M/V Mary Kathryn is hull number #5. Hand built by the skilled shipwrights in Algonac Michigan, she is a true classic collectible in every sense and sure to turns heads at any marina or yacht club. Built for elegant entertaining (her sister ship was reportedly once owned by Dean Martin) she has a spacious windowed salon and covered aft deck.  From her days as a dinner cruiser she has a viking stove in her upgraded galley and a 66 key Tom Thumb piano (optional) in the salon.

M/V Mary Kathryn has a large salon, with a 66 key Tom Thumb piano (optional), a spacious covered aft deck for relaxation, entertaining or dining, master state room, guest room and crew quarters with three upgraded heads and a galley redesigned (Viking stove and full size refrigerator) for her one time service as a dinner cruiser. She has numerous upgrades from her past two owners and she just had all hull concerns restored from keel to deck rail. Mary Kathryn is powered by two 230 hp 1978 Cummins V-555 diesels with less than 900 hrs of service.

Her structural work was recently restored, summer of 2013, she needs only cosmetics to be a prize winner at your favorite antique and classic boat show.  With potential as a charter, a floating B&B, an elegant condo or simply a prestigious historic motor cruiser for the skipper who prefers distinction in yachts.

Mary Kathryn has had her engines and electrical systems professionally maintained and is ready for your inspection. M/V Mary Kathryn has been and is housed in a covered shed out of the sun in Galesville, MD. Refined and tasteful this elegant Solon Yacht speaks of a bygone era of historic Chris Craft design and classic wooden craftsmanship.
