Golden Hind 31

Golden Hind 31 launched in 1987. Renowned triple-keel shallow draft design by Maurice Griffiths, Mollymawk must be one of the best examples on the water today. The current owner has had her professionally re-varnished on deck, plus new standing and running rigging, and she offers loads of charm combined with superb tough seakeeping, Indeed, a number of Golden Hind 31's have completed successful circumnavigations. 

Build

Hull moulded by Golden Hind in 1980 to designs by Maurice Griffiths.
Fitted out by Terry Erskine Yachts and commissioned in 1987.

GRP Hull
Epoxy sheathed marine ply decks and mahogany coachroof. 
Encapsulated long cast iron keel with bilge plates. 
Tiller steering.
All external woodwork stripped back and coated with 9 coats of Coelan by Bucklers Hard Boatyard in 2013

2001 Yanmar 2GM20 sea water cooled inboard diesel engine.
