Leisure 23Sl - Immaculate throughout

Built by Cobramould in 1979, the Leisure 23SL was reknowned for tardis like accomodation and easy sailing qualities. Boat is in a very tidy condition and has had many owner improvements over the last four years. These include New upholstery, New main sail, New standing and running rigging and much much more.

The Leisure 23 evolved as a natural progression from the extremely successful 22. Offered initially as the 23 and then the 23SL the main differences were the raked stern to give increased waterline length and the wedge shaped coachroof and higher side decks making the accomodation more spacious.

The result is ample deck space, spacious deep cockpit and roomy accomodation designed for 5 people which is very unique in a 23 footer.

The hull is a one piece GRP moulding with GRP inner structural moulding, GRP and balsa core deck for insulation and strength. Twin cast iron bilge keels and GRP rudder and skeg with stainless steel fittings. The hull to deck join is covered in an attractive and protective teak rubbing strake. Moulded non skid decks for safe working forward with further safety from the stanchions, guard wires and grab rails.
