In 1961 the "Budi" is builded by shipyard NIC. Witsen in Alkmaar in honor of Prince Bernard his 50th birthday. The ship is seaworthy and comfortable. The large teak deck accommodates a large number of guests. In 2010 the ship was fully restored. The two engines are also overhauled and after that the ship layed almost all the time inside.
