Najad 405

This Najad 405 was supplied new by ourselves to her current owner. She has had only light family use and is in absolutely first rate condition. The Najad 405 retains the classic appeal of Najad yachts of the past but has sparkling sailing performance and contemporary, although not faddish, styling below decks offering the best of both worlds.

 Internally the fit out is predominantly in African Mahogany and Jatoba, hand polished and varnished to a satin finish. Cabin sole is Jatoba with Wenge inlay. Headlinings are in cream/white covered panels.
"Valkyrie’s” layout below decks is version "B" of the three that were available on the 405.
There is a generous conventional "V" berth in the forward cabin and plenty of hanging space including a full length locker to starboard.
The centre piece of the saloon is the beautiful folding table incorporating a drinks locker. Seating is to either side. There is a factory fitted lee cloth to the port saloon berth.
Navigation area to aft starboard quater of saloon with principal instruments and ships electrical distribution panel.
Galley to port.
Large head to starboard side aft of navigation area. "Corian" "Burnt Amber" wash basin and surfaces, manual head, electrical pump for shower tray, hot and cold pressurised water with single lever tap and shower.
Passage to aft cabin area to port aft of galley. Single quarter berth and hanging locker to port and separate double cabin to starboard with hanging locker and extensive locker space forward.
Seating is generally of triple density foam 130mm thick and berth cushions are pocket sprung mattresses approximately 150mm thick. Upholstery throughout is "Othello Terra" and curtains are "Cuivre".
There are "Ocean Air" blackout/insect blinds fitted to all large deck hatches which were factory options at the time of build.
