This 1987 Marine Trader Tradewinds model is perfect for long cruises and staying aboard. The two stateroom layout coupled with the wide beam affords a spacious interior for cruising, entertaining and relaxing. The solid fiberglass hull, wide beam, and shallow keel enhances the directional stability for comfort.

The spacious salon leads into the lower helm to starboard with a convenient deck access door adjacent, and entertainment center to port. Galley is down to starboard, with generous cabinet space and a convenience cabinet for spices and hidden access to lower helm electronics wiring. A spacious convertible dinette to port, with bench seating and comfort cushions, provides a third option for guest sleeping arrangements.

The master suite has a full King size island bed with generous walkaround. Full dresser on each side with three drawers and three ventilated cabinet doors. Two single hanging lockers plus a double hanging locker to port. Large mirrors above each dresser and nightstands with drawers and storage below on each bedside.  Head with stall shower and sink to starboard. Lamps and courtesy accent lighting. Full wood parquet flooring in suite as well.

The grain-matched teak interior woodwork is finished to a very high standard. All cabinetry is ventilated and the entry doors bear the beautifully carved bamboo design of the Taiwanese builders family crest, traditional to the beautiful woodworking in this era. The owner has taken special care to protect and maintain the exquisite finish of the interior wood surfaces. All the interior floors are wood parquet. Salon has bound edge removable carpet to protect the wood floor. Aft deck salon also has beautifully maintained teak flooring, protected by a rug as well.

The full width aft deck provides a very comfortable and spacious entertaining  salon, complete with full wet bar. Wing door access to both sides of deck. Complete eisenglass enclosure with breezeway openings for comfort in any weather. Hardtop overhead with rod holders and courtesy lighting.

Entrance to flybridge is centerline in aft deck salon, adjacent to main salon entry door. Three steps up to flybridge with full beam helm forward, and L-shaped guest settee seating to port and starboard aft. Fiberglass enclosed storage compartments with waterproof lids under L-shaped seating and in helm station.

Complete eisenglass enclosure, with new blue canvas top. New blue canvas on windshield cover as well. The bow deck area boasts two large deck storage boxes with a large igloo cooler. Windlass controls two anchor system on the standard bow pulpit. Skylight hatch on forward deck for forward guest stateroom.

Going aft, the topside of the aft deck salon houses a 1000 lb dinghy davit system, for small dinghy, scooter or small watercraft. One solar panel and room for more if needed. The radar arch houses a Norelco radar system and the TrakVision dome, as well as standard navigation lighting. From the aft deck salon area, the boarding/swim ladder is stainless and teak with sturdy, substantial treads, with access from the generously sized swim platform.

This Tradewinds is a cruising vessel with recent cruising hours logged. Present owners have cruised and maintained her as a liveaboard vessel while taking long range cruises for the past 12 years. She has cruised the Bahamas chain, the Tom Bigsbee waterway on several trips, and other long range destinations. Owner has up to date maintenance and cruising log books. Turn key and go.
