The POSTHASTE 34' Gentleman's Lobsterboat from custom boat builder D.N. Hylan & Associates is a truly exceptional power boat.  Every aspect of this modern classic, from her varnished transom and handsome sheer, to her raised panel mahogany house sides and Herreshoff inspired interior, is painstakingly hand crafted at D.N. Hylan & Associates boat shop on the shores of the Benjamin River Harbor in Brooklin Maine.  The design is a marriage of the sea kindly and fuel efficient traditional lobsterboat hulls of Downeast Maine, with the elegant and exquisitely detailed superstructure and interior space more typical of a classic commuter yacht.

D.N. Hylan & Associates is a custom yacht design and construction company specializing in traditionally inspired designs created with the highest standards of craftsmanship.  The POSTHASTE 34 is available as described, but is also customizable in every way.  Interested parties are strongly encouraged to take full advantage of the custom design and construction capabilities to create a yacht that suits them perfectly

The cockpit is impressive and inviting space that is encompassed in rich varnished mahogany with a laid teak sole underfoot.  A cushioned settee across the stern is the ideal place for guests to enjoy the ride, and from the custom helm seat the captain will enjoy the ease and safety of all the modern electronics and controls discreetly incorporated and customized to fit the traditional motif.  A perfect space to enjoy an island picnic with a crowd or a cocktail at dusk on a hot summer day.
