Bruce Roberts Staysail Schooner - Priced to sell!

This staysail schooner has given her owners thousands of miles of effortless sailing. She is a Bermuda rigged schooner, three deep reefs in the main, hanked on main staysail, inner forestay and furling genoa. For light winds a loose footed fisherman may be flown above the main staysail or a flying genoa may be poled out alongside the furling genoa. Reducing sail is very easy and there are many sail combinations to enjoy whilst sailing just two handed.

Fully repainted in 2013 plus complete hull maintenance including all new sea cocks and new cutlass bearing in 2012, and a new propeller in 2014, she is in very nice order. The interior is heavy in traditional teak joinery and is extremely attractive.

Full forward the double cabin is well lit and ventilated by the overhead hatch and there is plenty of locker and drawer space. This cabin also stores sails. Moving aft, the guest bathroom is to port with a very roomy shower. Opposite the bathroom in the passageway there is vast cupboard space currently allocated for many tools and spares. In the saloon there are a pair of tables port and starboard, the larger folding one to port for dining and seating for at least five and combining both tables makes for great and easy entertaining. The galley is to starboard and has a large pantry behind. The navigation station is well organised and close to the companionway. Through the port passageway moving aft it is another cabin in effect with a good berth. The owners suite fully aft has a bathroom to starboard complete with a bathtub.
