Aluminium sailing yacht Koopmans 46, ‘Northern Light’, 14.25 (lwl 11.75 ) * 4.36 * 2.15 meter, built 1998 and launched in may 2000, designed by Dick Koopmans, built at Alumarine BV in Sint Annaland as a Concord 47.5 in Holland under supervision of B. Busman. Teak on deck and coachroof, 9 Goyat deckhatches, aluminium superstructure and aluminium hull in Navy Blue (repainted 2005) with aluminium welded Goyot portholes, round bilged hull, waterdisplacement approx. 20 tons, ballast approx. 5.7 tons lead ballast in the aluminium fin keel topped with aluminium welded top, full skeg rudder, water capacity approx. 450 liters in 2 hull integrated tanks, fuel capacity approx. 800 liters in 2 hull integrated tanks, blackwater hull integrated tank approx. 300 liters and a 15 liter greywatertank for the shower, Whitlock pedestal with an emergency tiller
