26' GP26 '06 Salt Peanuts

Built by yacht designer/builder Brooks Dees Yacht Design PHRF - San Diego 81, 60, 54 The boat is designed and built in complete conformance with the GP26 Rule managed by the Offshore Racing Congress (ORC). It has an open bow with two pipe berths. The boat is tailored for the light to moderate breezes typically found off the west coast of the United States and Mexico, specifically Southern California. A crew of three to five compliments the boat well. The systems are efficient and straight forward. The masthead and fractional kites allow the boat to use its minimal wetted area and in both heavy airs and light for reaching and running conditions. Longitudinal jib tracks allow twist in the jib tops accommodating higher wind speeds while reducing sail inventories.
