Cheoy Lee Explorer 150 - New Design

The new Cheoy Lee 150 can be constructed in steel hull with aluminum superstructure or steel hull, composite superstructure. Cheoy Lee Explorer 150 offers excellent performance with astounding range and economy.

The Explorer 150 features a single main engine (Cat 3512B) and Schottel controllable pitch propeller. For redundancy, a diesel driven Schottel Pump-Jet is installed forward to serve as a fully azimuthing bow thruster and a "get home" secondary propulsion system.

Fuel capacity on this new design is 25, 000 U.S. gallons (94,625 liters). The large fuel capacity combined with our highly efficient fast-displacement hull will push the calculated range up to 10, 000 NM at 9-10 knots and around 6,000 NM at 12 knots with a top speed of 14.5 to 15 knots with the standard Caterpillar 3512B.
