The Deerfoot 72’ is an iconic go anywhere cruising yacht. With her Walstead aluminium construction, she is rugged and dependable. Her sweet hull lines give good passage speeds. She has been in this ownership since build.

 

Designer’s Remarks:

 

DEERFOOT II was conceived as a yacht for shorthanded long distance cruising. A sistership has just completed a 55,000nm circumnavigation with just a couple on board (http://www.sailinginterlude.com/). She powers to weather better than trawler yachts, offers protection from the elements both in her pilothouse and cockpit, and has an exceptionally functional seagoing layout below.

 

Construction:

 

Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:

  • Aluminium hull (in white, with blue stripe) deck and superstructure construction.
  • Cockpit has teak sole.
  • Exterior trim in teak and stainless steel.
