Elkins Gaff Cutter Classic

Classic Gaff Cutter built in 1938 by Elkins of Chichester. This pocket cruiser is a classic boat for the traditional sailor looking for a lovingly maintained piece of sailing history. Extensively rebuilt at the Classic Boat Museum in 2006, which included new interior - galley, 2 bunks and re-varnished and re-painted.  To check hull was sound all outer coatings were stripped, re-caulked, stopped an painted. Two new sheerstrakes were fitted, decks were stripped and re-canvassed.  All brightwork was taken back and re-varnished. The mast and spars were taken back and varnished. new standing rigging fitted by Spencers and new running rigging.  Diane is stored in the Classic Boat Museum during the winter months.
