LBSS is proud to offer Muscat 2 for Sale. This powered cruising catamaran is three years old, well built, functional and easy to handle and is presented in excellent condition.

 

 The vessel is a 14.2m Bruce Harris Twin Screw Power Cat Cruiser. Bruce Harris is famous for designing power fishing catamarans for the rugged seas off the Australian coast. Muscat 2 has all the characteristics of a tough durable fishing boat but has all the comforts of an apartment

This functional cruising catamaran has travelled from Queensland and ventured through Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia and Thailand without a scratch.

This is a very easy boat to handle. The layout has two double cabins forward of wheel house in the hulls and a master cabin aft on the main deck. Outside the cabin it is possible to walk around the boat protected by high gunwales and a solid fiberglass roof

The large main cabin has the steering and engine controls with 180 degree vision and with a galley to port and a large dining area to starboard. The aft deck is shaded by the roof and can seat 8 people comfortably.

The stove and oven are gas .there is a 40 litre 12volt freezer and a 120 litre upright refrigerator

Muscat 2 is powered by 2 x 160hp diesel engines and cruises comfortably and economically at 7.5 knots with a maximum speed well in excess of that. The shallow draft of just 0.7 meter enables you to get to places that deep keeled yachts cannot. Inspection is recommended
