A very well equipped and cared for bluewater cruising boat. Numerous up-grades by her electrical engineer owner and a Yanmar diesel new in 1996. Be sure to inspect this fine yacht if you are seeking a solid forty footer. CRICKET sleeps six adults in three cabins. Anyone who has been aboard a Passport Yacht knows the beuty of the all Asian varnished Teak interior and cabinetry. The owners stateroom is forward with the pullman double berth with custom mattress to port, drawers under, storage lockers and hanging lockers opposite. The head compartment is all the way forward with vanity & sink, hot & cold pressure water, marine toilet with Y valve and holding tank with macerator. A storage vanity is to port, hand held shower with sump. The main salon has a large L-shaped settee to port and a large folding Teak dining table that unfolds over the engine box. Single settee berth opposite, storage lockers and book shelves outboard port and starboard. Terrific engine access via the opening engine box. The sit down navigators table is midships to stbd and aft facing. Storage shelves, lift top and drawers beneath for excellent storage. The ships electrical panels are mounted outboard. The large U-shaped galley is aft to port with white Formica counters, double stainless steel sinks with hot & cold pressure water, two foot pumps, stainless steel gimballed propane stove and oven, large refrerator with lift top and front opening door. There are two refrigeration systems aboard CRICKET. One is an engine driven SeaFrost holding plate refrigeration system. The second comprises a stainless steel freezer compartment within the refrig operated by a 12 volt Grunert evaporator refrigeration system that is a freezer. Storage compartments, drawers and lockers abound throughout the galley. The guest stateroom is aft to stbd. with a large double bed, storage lockers, hanging locker and a unique extra marine toilet hidden under a removable bench. Typical of all Passport Yachts, there are numerous bronze opening ports, with screens, deck hatches and two large fixed windows in the main salon for excellent light and ventilation. Varnished Teak & Holly floors throughout in good condition. The varnish finish throughout the interion is in very good condition. The Passport 40 is a big headroom interior.
