Particulars;
Most important, the ride provided on this Eastbay deep-V hull is dry and comfortable. It was also built to easily handle choppy seas, a fact that was made possible thanks to its heavy-duty, rugged design. Typically, the 43 Eastbay Fly bridge cruises at 20-24 knots and can go even faster. But with the twin Caterpillars 3116 type diesels, she can go along at a very economical 7-8 knots at 8-10 ltr/hr.

The large open cockpit provides for ample entertainment space and access from and to the dock. The view from the fly bridge is superb, either when docking or cruising along in the canals or at sea.

Entering the deck salon/pilothouse she has an L-shaped settee at starboard and two opposing seats. Further forward you will find the galley and interior steering/navigation station.  For easy docking and communication there is direct access to the deck. The sleeping accommodations have been specially built to owners requirements. Doing away with the standard V-berth, this 43 Fly has a sumptuous double berth and extra cupboard space.

Overall, a well-appointed cruiser that was perfect for a couple who enjoyed cruising alone or with guests. With its joinery of varnished teak, generously sized salon, well-appointed galley and comfortable head and shower, the 43 Flybridge definitely fit into the luxury category. No surprise that Grand Banks decided to offer the flybridge option for the new 46 and 55 foot Eastbays.
