John Atkin 40 Two Masted Schooner
Deliverance is a John Atkin’s steel hulled schooner that has seen many upgrades including a new 40-HP FWC Yanmar diesel in 2005. She is presently being used for memorable North Fork day-sail adventures. She is set up for handling six passengers. As you enter the cabin her galley is split port and starboard. Port side has the sink and compact 110V refrigerator and to starboard are the microwave and ice box. Forward of the galley is a starboard side bunk and to port a settee. All the way forward are twin V-berths and just aft of the forward cabin to port is the head and to starboard is a hanging locker and drawers. There is ample storage throughout the vessel. She is equipped with a manual windlass, true geared steering, 110V drop-in air conditioner, inverter, SS rigging (2005) and new electrical panel wiring (2005). Electronics consist of Garmin GPS 120 XL, Raymarine DS 500X DF/FF, Vizio flatscreen TV and a Standard Horizion Quest VHF. Her sail inventory is a jib forward, forestay, foresail and mainsail. All are North sails in good condition. No generator or stove. Her auxiliary power is a 2005 40-HP FWC Yanmar diesel with approximately 1000 hours.
