Neptunus 13.8 Flybridge
NEPTUNE is a fine example of a Eurocruiser Sedan that has become so popular here in North America. This yacht was built at the Neptunus Shipyard in Holland for the North American market. She shows very well for her age both inside and out. She offers a very comfortable two cabin, two head layout with a fully functional lower station. Sold by the listing broker to the current owner 17 years ago JULIE'S JOY shows pride of ownership by a lifetime boater. Entrance is via a rail break on either side deck or onto the platform via a floating dock. A custom hinged door gives access to the Aft Deck with loose seating, Engine Room access and ladder type steps to the Flybridge. Entrance to the Salon is via a sliding door to port. Immediately to starboard upon entering the Salon is a U shaped settee, a table and two stools. To port is a bar area, TV and storage cabinets. Forward to starboard is a raised lower helm with excellent visibility. Down four steps to port is the Galley and Dinette. To starboard is a Guest Cabin with a queen size berth with a private head and stall shower. Next forward is the Master Cabin with an island queen berth and a private head with access to the starboard side head’s shower. Salon The Salon is very open due to the abundant use of aft, side and forward windows. Upon entering to starboard is a large U shaped upholstered settee with storage below. An adjustable height table with two stools allows for dining or extra seating. To port is a 15" Magnavox LCD TV with two storage cabinets below. Forward below a built in shelf are two cabinet doors, followed by a Kenmore stainless steel drink refrigerator and bar cabinet. The countertop above has a table lamp. Above are large fixed side windows with drapes to match those on the starboard side. Also in the Salon are AC controls, eight overhead halogen mini spots, stereo speakers and a carpeted sole. Lower Helm One step up from the Salon to starboard is the complete Lower Helm with excellent visibility. The helm seat is double wide. The adjacent outboard window slides open when needed. A small square table offers dining via the Salon stools to dine four. Overhead are two stereo speakers and six overhead halogen mini spots. Guest Cabin To starboard is the Guest Cabin with a double berth tucked under the Helm area. Occasional storage is available under the bed. A full size hanging locker is outboard and forward. An opening porthole is aft with a storage cabinet above. Two cabinets offer above the berth access the back of electronics area and a private head is next forward. Guest Head Next forward is the Guest Head with a tile sole, curved front vanity with a china sink above and storage below. The stall shower has two entrances, one with a bifold door from the Guest Cabin, one from the Master Cabin. The toilet is a Groco electric model. Also in the Head is an opening porthole, two storage cabinets, a dressing mirror and three overhead lights. Master Cabin All the way forward is the Master Cabin with a centerline king/queen size berth. The headboard is upholstered and has a mirrored panel on the headboard flanked by DC powered reading lights. To both port and starboard are built in shelves as nightstands with opening portholes behind drapes that match the bedspreads. Next aft on both sides are full size hanging lockers and a 13" TV and VCR on the portside. Further aft is another hanging locker to port and a locker with shelves to starboard. Overhead is a ventilation/escape hatch and four overhead halogen mini spots. The raised platform berth has two storage cabinets below. Aft to port is the Master Head with a Micra vanity with a storage cabinet below and a china sink above. Two storage cabinets are located above an opening porthole. The sole is ceramic tile and the head is a Groco electric model. Aft to starboard from the Master Cabin is a door leading into the guest shower. In a pinch the removable spray faucet in the Master Head can double as a shower too. Hidden in the Master Cabin is a built in safe for valuables.
