Corsair F-28

A very well equipped Corsair F-28 aft cockpit, ready to cruise, at a very reasonable price. The Corsair F-28 is easily to trailer because of its ease of foldiing, light weight and low profile on the trailer. As with other Corsair trimarans, the transition from trailering to sailing only takes about 30-40 minutes. The Corsair F-28 has a roomy, functional interior with all the necessary amenities for  overnight cruising. There are sleeping accommodations for up to four, a galley area with two-burner stove, stainless steel sink, fresh water tank and pump, and a porta potti with privacy curtain. There are cushions on all seats and bunks. The mast is raised or lowered using the winch on the trailer. This is a straightforward operation that can be accomplished easily in a few minutes by one person. The rudder pivots up 180-degrees for trailering. This and the fully retractable daggerboard also enables the 28 to pull in close to shore and anchor in less than knee-deep water, or even put the Corsair 28 onto a sandy beach. The dual axle galvanized steel trailer has surge brakes, lights and a spare wheel for long distance trailering if required. The F-28 also features a roller furling / reefing boom so the mainsail never has to be folded or flaked--it rolls up on the boom and can be stored inside the cabin when trailering.  It has two sets of sails, the newest ones being in excellent condition.

This 1997 F-28 needs nothing to go sailing or cruising tomorrow.
