Built on a solid excellent riding Carmen Hull, and finished to Yacht Quality by Composite Yachts, "Maverick" is truly one of a kind.  Powered by twin IPS 600's she cruises at 28 knots @ 33 GPH, and is, to our knowledge, the only Chesapeake Deadrise with IPS power.  She is outfitted with the best of everything, including Furuno Nav Net 3D displays, radar, sounder, and FLIR.

Maverick's foundation is a 46 Carmen Hull, known by commercial fisherman for its great ride, and customized to accept the IPS pod drives.  She was then taken to Composite Yacht where no expense was spared in creating a Gentleman's deadrise.  Her mechanicals, finishes, and electronics are all top of the line.

She is outfitted to fish both offshore and inshore.  She has amenities like Eskimo Ice Chipper, Outriggers, live well, rear station, that you would only find on a pedigree sportfisherman.  In fact "Maverick"  has placed in the White Marlin division in the Mid-Atlantic 500.

Her current owner took her a step further and had her Hull painted in Navy Blue Awlgrip, and had the bottom stripped and re-painted.  He also installed a teak cockpit, and made numerous upgrades throughout.  Her owner keeps her under cover, and is constantly maintaining.

Stepping aboard you find a very generous self bailing cockpit with new Teak Decks added 5/2012.   The Murrary Brothers Teak Rocket Launcher was removed when the decks were installed, but is available.  The cockpit is perfectly laid out for bay and offshore fishing alike.  Full cockpit helm controls and joystick are forward and are protected from the elements by the overhang, while to port is a cooler in which the Eskimo ice shaver empties.  A live well is in the transom as is transom door.  The Volvo IPS 600's are housed under the cockpit and accessed VIA large hydraulic hatch lift, making maintenance a breeze.

Moving forward is the soft enclosed Aft Salon area with a U-shaped dinette to port and corner settee to starboard.  This area is protected with a removable EZ2CY enclosure with zippered sun screens, and features Air Conditioning and Heat.  It features teak and holly soles, high gloss varnish teak trim, large flat screen TV and Bose sound system.  This area is just aft and adjacent to the galley and separated by a large window that hydraulically lowers out of site to make this an "al fresco" dining area.

Entering the main cabin forward from the aft salon, the galley is aft, and open to the aft salon. The dividing window is lowered with a press of a button.  Sink and chiller drawers are to port while the oven and cooktop are starboard. Teak and holly soles, Granite and rubbed effect varnished teak trim highlight this area. Note that because "Maverick" is fitted with Volvo IPS engines and drives which are located under the cockpit,  the area under the salon, which normally houses the engines in a straight inboard style boat, is used for storage and small mechanical equipment.  This configuration makes for an extremely quiet ride.

Forward from the galley is the helm area.  The control station is to starbord, and features a Murray Bros. Teak Helm Chair.  The electronics are within easy reach, and are flush mounted in teak.  The ships electrical panel is to starboard, as are the climate controls for the main and aft salon.  To Port there are two more Murray Bros. teak helm chairs which enables guests to get the same view as the captain.  The side windows slide open, and the center windshield opens for ventilation.

Down four steps from the main salon is the mid cabin with queen bed (memory foam mattress) to starbord, with its own flat panel TV.  To port is the large head that features a nice vanity, and large stall shower with Hatch for ventilation.

All the way forward is the second stateroom with fillable V-Berth, and flat panel TV.
