12 Metre America's Cup Yacht

This is an exceptional boat. This 12 metre was originally designed and built to compete in the 1977 America?s Cup. As such she was a pure regatta boat in which everything was geared toward speed. The interior of the boat was completely bare. The hull is made of mahogany. It is about 3 cm thick and consists of 3 layers of planking. The structure is aluminium.
