Outremer 43 - PRICE REDUCED

This yacht is a speed devoted catamaran, originally 40 foot long, but the builder

and architect, Gerard Danson, considering increasing speed and comfort in

rough seas, call back the models already sailing in the world in view to modify

the sterns, giving 3 feet more at the waterline. This was done in 1999 at La

Grande Motte Outremer yard, south of France. The present owner bought her

in 2008 and proceeded a big refit in Navibois shipyard, Sete, France during 10

months. Osmosis treatment, paints, epoxy renovation of the mast, cabinet works,

replacement of all electric wires and apparels, replacement of the trampoline,

fabrication of new set of sails, installation of new Yanmar engines, a new Lofran

windlass, solar panels, new life raft.

After some navigation in Med and then in the Caribbean’s, another session of

work was done in 2013: Replacement of the whole steering system, replacement

of drives and propellers (folding “duck beak”) , replacement of all batteries,

Installation of electronic suite Raymarine, replacement of main sail, solent, and

furler, a lot of rigging, cleats, lazy bag and jacks, lines, anchor, etc. The life raft

was serviced, and the mattresses, canvases, fabrics were changed for new.

So, the boat in his whole is in very good shape. But a last work is still missing:

Cosmetics. The buyer should plan a short session of varnish, paints, etc. After

that, the yacht should be a speeding beauty.
