The first owner, George Coumantaros -a Greek billionaire, commissioned her, after winning the game of Baccarat in Monaco casino. The current owner has the privilege to own her for over 17 years now. A yacht like Baccarat, is actually not a possession, in fact she is curator of Olin Stephens inheritance. Although the current owner spent many miles sailing her, he equally enjoyed restoring this old lady. And everywhere he anchored, people came to him expressing their admiration for her lines and her looks. She was built as a racer/cruiser and sailed under New York Yacht Club originally, performing well in Bermuda classic regattas (1954…1968).
