Sunreef 60 S

Designed by Luc Bouvet (designer of "Ecureuil d'Aquitaine", winner of the first Vendée Globe in 1990), Miti was built in aluminium (Alloy Sealium, hull and deck insulated) in Gdansk, Poland by the Sunreef shipyard, under the control of the french certification company Veritas .

According to her owner's wishes, despite of her "italian looking", Miti has really been designed as a distant (and fast) family cruiser, with a long range autonomy for journeys of several years. More reliable than luxurious, she is easy to handle and to maintain, and comfortable.

Thanks to her designer's great experience, she offers a great safety at sea, whatever the conditions. Her two rudders allow the use of the autopilot even when the sea is rough.

Immediatly after her launching, in 2006, the owner sailed from Poland to North Africa, with his wife and two children. This navigation confirmed that, despite the necessity to improve some equipment, the design choice was good.

In 2007, the boat spent two months in a yard in France to be improved (a second staysail furler was, the foldable aft platform was replaced for a ligther one, ...), then sailed in Mediterranean sea during the summer.

In 2008, she spent another month at the same yard to be fitted with some additional equipments (as a crew cabin in the forward lock) and is now chartered in Mediterranean.
